Due to ice storm game was postponed * * * *
According to the Rockridge AD,
Chad Bahnks KHS AD was notified
Wednesday that championship game would be played
on the first day that school could be held
whether that be Thursday or Friday.
However Mr. Bahnks neglected to notify 7th grade coach Justin Miller &
even when Miller called Bahnks 3 times on Thursday to see if
Bahnks had heard of game plan
Bahnks said he had not heard of any game scheduled!!
Interesting!! because Monmouth-Roseville 8th grade
knew on Thursday of game schedule
and Referees were called on Thursday morning before 9 a.m
KJHS staff was not notified until after 1st hour on Friday!
Knoxville had NO cheerleaders at either tournament game ~
story goes cheerleading coach did not want to waste her time
Thus Rockridge had 16+ cheerleaders with great cheers & game balls to throw
